🎶 Jesse Turner Transforms Grief into Music After the Passing of His Beloved Mother🎶

Corpus Christi, TX – August 30, 2025 – It was an emotional night at Legends Sound Studios in Corpus Christi as Jesse Turner, frontman of Grupo Siggno and Latin Grammy Award winner, poured his heartbreak into song following the loss of his mother, Narcisa Cortez Ruiz, who passed away this week at the age of 86.
        Just weeks after losing his grandmother, Turner once again turned to his music for healing. Earlier this month, he wrote a touching ballad in her honor, celebrating the bond between generations. That song has now taken on an even deeper meaning with the passing of his mother, whom he described as his greatest inspiration both in life and in music.
Freddie Records, Turner’s longtime label, shared that “through tears, pain, and anguish, Jesse created something truly magical and touching.” They added, “Music has the power to heal the mind, heart, soul, and body. Last night he sure did.”
        Turner himself opened up to fans on social media, recalling his final moments with his mother. He described how she looked well, prepared a last meal for him and his brother, and shared Bible verses through Alexa. “I love you, Mom… I didn’t expect this to be the last time,” he wrote. Despite being “devastated, heartbroken,” Turner says he finds strength “in God, in my family, and in you, who always saw my mother as a beautiful loving memory.”
